1. Information We Collect
Information you provide. If you contact us by email, WhatsApp, telephone or another channel, we may receive your name, business name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, project requirements, website/domain details, files or content you send, quotation/payment-related information, and other information you choose to provide.
Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may automatically create server or security logs containing information such as IP address, browser/device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and diagnostic or security events.
Client project information. Where we provide services, we may process information reasonably necessary to design, develop, maintain or support the client’s website. Clients should not send us sensitive or unnecessary personal information unless it is genuinely required for the project and has been lawfully collected.
2. How We Use Information
- respond to enquiries and communicate about potential or active projects;
- prepare quotations, proposals, invoices, scopes and project records;
- design, develop, deliver, maintain or support agreed website services;
- manage payments, accounting and reasonable business records;
- protect our website, systems and users against misuse, fraud and security incidents;
- enforce contractual rights and resolve disputes; and
- comply with applicable law, regulatory requirements or lawful requests.
We do not sell or rent personal information.
3. Consent and Lawful Processing
When you voluntarily contact us or ask us to provide a service, you provide information for those purposes. Where applicable law requires consent, we seek to process personal data on the basis of clear consent or another lawful basis/legitimate use permitted by applicable law.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully and does not require us to delete records that we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
We aim to handle personal data consistently with applicable Indian data-protection requirements, including relevant provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 as and when those provisions apply.
4. Cookies and Website Technologies
Siterivo does not currently set its own analytics or advertising cookies on siterivo.in. The site may request resources from third-party providers such as Google Fonts. Those providers may receive technical information (for example, IP address and browser information) when your browser requests their resources.
If we later add analytics, advertising, embedded media, online forms, payment tools, account features or other tracking technologies, we will update this policy and use notices/consent mechanisms where required.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We may disclose information only when reasonably necessary to providers that help us operate our business or deliver an agreed project, such as hosting/domain providers, email providers, WhatsApp/Meta, payment or accounting providers, software/plugin vendors, cloud storage providers, or technical contractors. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or lawful authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems or property. We do not disclose client confidential information for unrelated marketing purposes.
6. Processing Outside India
Some technology and communication providers may store or process data outside India. Where cross-border processing occurs, we use providers subject to their contractual/privacy terms and follow applicable restrictions under Indian law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, project delivery and support, accounting/tax records, legal compliance, security, dispute resolution or enforcement of agreements. Different categories of information may have different retention periods.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to a small digital-services business, such as access controls, reputable hosting/service providers and reasonable account/security practices. No online service, email, messaging platform or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
If we become aware of a personal-data breach, we will take reasonable steps required by applicable law, including notification where legally required.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm or explain how we handle your personal data, correct inaccurate information, erase information that is no longer required, withdraw consent where processing depends on consent, or raise a grievance. Some requests may be limited where retention or processing is required by law or necessary for legal claims, security or contractual records.
To make a request, email support@siterivo.in. We may ask for reasonable information to verify the request before acting on it.
10. Children
Our website and web-design services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children through this website. If a project itself involves services directed to children, the client is responsible for informing us so that appropriate privacy and consent requirements can be addressed in that project.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, service providers or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date at the top will show the latest revision. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or directly where appropriate.
